Studio Etiquette
Respect your body.
Your teacher needs to know if you have any pain, injuries, recent broken bones, tightness or other medical issues.
Classical Pilates can be tough and you will probably be sore, but you should not feel pain.
Your Pilates session should be a moment for yourself so ditch the cellphone / Apple watch to eliminate the distraction.
Don’t chew gum – choking is a serious risk when you are working out on your back.
Remember, Pilates is a workout.
Respect the equipment
Grippy socks are required to enhance grip, stability, and hygiene.
No zippers, buttons, or any other metal decorations are allowed on clothing since they can damage the apparatus.
No jewelry is allowed since it may damage the apparatus or get caught in springs and straps and cause injury.
Avoid using any scented products of any kind (including products for hair, essential oils, lotions, cologne and perfumes)
Respect the instructor
Please be on time
Your body will be moving in all sorts of positions, so clothes you can move freely in without any accidental slips are a must. Your instructor benefits from seeing how your body moves too. Form fitting clothing sets us both up for success.
At some point, you will likely be lying on your back making circles with your legs… I am gonna leave that right there.

Full session price will be charged for all cancellations within 24 hours of your scheduled class time.
